Mascarpone frosting

Here is a recipe for a mascarpone frosting that goes very well as for a frosting for cupcakes or for cakes.

The pictures show how you can use the frosting for Vanilla cupcakes with pastry cream. You can find instructions on Swedish further down in this post.

Ingredients:

  • 250g (9 ounces) mascarpone cheese
  • 200ml (1 cup) heavy cream
  • 200g (1 cup) caster sugar

Instructions:

Put everything into a bowl and whisk it together. When everything is light and fluffy put the frosting into a piping bag and decorate your cupcakes or your cake.

Instruktioner:

Vispa ihop 250g mascarponeost, 2 dl vispgrädde och 2 dl socker i en bunke. När frostingen är krämig och fluffig läggs det över i en spritspåse. Därefter kan cupcakes, eller tårtor dekoreras och toppas.
